Ok! So about me: I'm an artist; I'd love to make a career out of it, so I take honors/Advanced Placement classes and work my butt off on a daily basis in school. I really haven't had much of a chance to practice graphic arts, because I've never had access to a decent art program. But I took a Web Page Design course in school and got 100% and won the award for being the best in my class. w00t. I spent... oh man... hundreds of hours working in MS Publisher over the course of the semester and cranked out some pretty impressive stuff. So I'm a Publisher pro. I'd love to try my hand at walls, but I need a decent art program first-- i.e., one that didn't crawl out of the primordial soup?

I joined so I could download walls & scans, simple as that. So I was a little irked when I learned there was a cost. It makes sense, but... *sigh* Given my technological disadvantage, I can't really contribute much. *more sighing* T.T

My favorite anime and manga is Fullmetal Alchemist, and I'm the treasurer, founder, and former president of my school's anime club. Long story, my friend, long story...
